and most importantly the Introductory Section showcasing the school's
history and events. All efforts will be
made to contact alumnae via phone, email and
mail to obtain and verify biographical information.
Villa Maria has contracted with Alumni Research, Inc. to collect
and compile the information into a hardbound, library quality volume
and an online community. This directory will be made available to

The
GOLDEN Diploma
Class of 1959

Twenty members
of the Class of 1959, this year's "Golden Girls" processed
in the graduation line with the Class of 2009. They were seated,
as guests of honor, in the sanctuary. During the graduation ceremonies,
each Golden Girl received a golden diploma to commemorate the
day. Lunch at the Desmond (for 30 members of the '59 Class) followed
and then a tour of Villa Maria. The memorable day was topped off
with cocktails and dinner at Baxter's in Malvern. A good day was
had by all! Interesting to note that one graduate traveled from
Peru to attend, 2 from North Carolina, 1 from Florida and 1 from
Arizona.
So, Class of 1960,
start making your plans.
