Accessing a Shared Folder

ACCESSING A TEACHER SHARED FOLDER (ex: bauer, honors french, children of Mary, etc)
All users will need to do the following to their account:

1. Log into the network under your account.
2. Go to MY NETWORK PLACESand double click on ENTIRE NETWORK
3. Search by Computers (VMSTUDENT) and hit Enter..
4. Locate the STUDENTS folder and right click onto the closed folder.
5. A Menu appears. One choice is Map Network Drive.
6. Select this option. A box appears. Choose Drive S and make sure there is a check mark in RECONNECT ON LOGON.
7. Say Ok.
8. Check in MY COMPUTER for a drive called Students on VMSTUDENT(S:).
9. To find the folder in question, double click on that drive and all of the teacher folders will appear each time you log on.
