Trading Leads to Gains in Economics Class

Mrs. McNamara’s AP Microeconomics class was joined by Miss McCartney’s Geometry students on Friday, September 12, 2014 for an interactive economics experiment. Students participated in increased and expanding rounds of a trading circle and through their increased activity were able to tangibly see that free and open trade increases wealth. The AP Microeconomics course is designed to include several interactive simulations to support the content of a classic microeconomics course.
