AP Microeconomics Students Put Theory into Practice

Students are pictured here with the world’s best-loved monopolist.

Mrs. McNamara’s AP Microeconomics student put their theoretical knowledge to the test with a visit to the Exton Mall.  Students were tasked with making real world connections to the microeconomic concepts they have been studying – choice theory, incentives, and the nature of competitive markets as resource allocators.  Students were able to graphically demonstrate gains for consumers and suppliers through their transactions by applying their knowledge of consumer choice theory under live-time conditions.
