Ceramics Students Donate Artwork

Villa Maria Academy ceramic students made bowls and donated them to Immaculata University’s Empty Bowls Fundraiser benefiting the Chester County Food Bank. Visitors paid $10 for a ticket to the event and were able to choose a bowl to take home, and area restaurants donated various soups, rolls, pastries, and beverages for the visitors to enjoy for dinner. Katie Manta’s cow-inspired bowl was the first to be chosen. Mrs. Bacastow asked the gentleman if she was able to take his picture with Katie’s bowl, and he said, “I came early to be first in line so I can pick the best bowl.”
