The Villa Maria student body greeted senior athletes in fall sports with deafening cheers and off-the-charts enthusiasm at the fall pep rally on Friday, October 2. Seniors athletes in cross country, field hockey, golf, soccer, tennis and volleyball made a dramatic entrance into the gym, then gathered in the center of the floor. Each was called to the mic to be recognized and applauded.
Following the senior recognition, grades competed for points in games of keep-the-pumpkin-on-the-stomach, three-legged race, bobbing for apples, pumpkin hockey, ring toss, and corn hole. The seniors won the day, but fun was had by all.
