The French Club and French Honor Society celebrated National French Week (La Semaine de Français) during the week of November 9.
- On Tuesday after school French Club members enjoyed a hands-on visit to the Strawberry Bakery in Frazer, where they learned about French pastry and made croissants, “petits pains” (also known as rolls), and mini baguettes. They also decorated cookies and red velvet cake with chocolate ganache.
- On Wednesday morning a student said the Hail Mary en français, and the cafeteria offered a hot ham and cheese croissant sandwich.
- On Friday the French Club hosted a French fund-raising breakfast before school, complete with a crêpe station and croissants. Proceeds will be donated to the St. Bernard Project.
