Students Visit St. Rose School with Gifts and Christmas Cheer

Villa Maria students bearing Christmas gifts visited children at St. Rose of Lima School in Philadelphia on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. The Villa girls enjoyed meeting the children and playing with the younger students as they opened their gifts. The children in Pre-K and kindergarten sang songs for their visitors.

All 229 children at St. Rose received gifts. The pre-k 3 and pre-k 4, kindergarten, and grades 1 to 4 got toys or games. Students in grades 5-8 got gloves, a hat, or a scarf, plus a $10 gift card. Villa Maria provided several sets of books for the Reading Olympics program as well.
