IMC Construction Makes $4,000 EITC Tax Credit Donation

Troy Emidy of IMC Construction, on behalf of CEO Rob Cottone, presented Villa Maria principal Sister Regina Ryan, IHM with a $4,000 donation as part of their participation in Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. IMC Construction leads a long list of companies that support EITC scholarships at Villa Maria, including the National Bank of Malvern, B & E Sportswear, C&V Landscaping, Penn Liberty Bank, and more.

Since EITC’s inception in 2004, Villa Maria has received more than $500,000 in donations and given scholarships to 145 students through this program.

Companies that do business and pay corporate and other taxes in Pennsylvania can receive substantial tax credits by redirecting their state tax dollars to Villa Maria in support of scholarships for under-served and deserving students. When a business partners with the Pennsylvania Tax Credit Programs, both the company and the student benefit.

For more information on how a company can earn tax credits for corporate donations, please contact Kathy McCartney ( or visit our EITC page.
