Students Win Honors in Wayne Art Center Show

dog paintingMiller and CurryEight Villa Maria Academy High School art students currently have art work displayed at the Wayne Art Center in their TeenWorks High School Art Exhibition. The show runs until April 23 and includes several other high schools in the region. Senior Lauren Miller won the Honorable Mention Award for her ceramic “Fish Bank,” and junior Julia Curry won the Honorable Mention Award for her painting of her dog “Bella.” Kristen Cziraky, Anna Damico, Sarah Denbigh, Madison Leiman, Rebecca Ostein, and Kirsten Tomasello also won certificates. The show was juried by Martin Campos, an artist and Professor of Art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
