Moms and Daughters Enjoy Communion Breakfast

A Villa tradition continues as the mothers and daughters gathered for a Communion Mass and Breakfast on Sunday, April 30th. Father Anthony Rossi from St. Joseph’s in Downingtown was the celebrant for this special Mass, preaching the word from Luke 24:13-35, Jesus’ Appearance On the Road to Emmaus. Sister Marie Claire and the music ministry prepared a beautiful service.

The guest speaker, Stephanie Deutsch from the Culture Project spoke about how women of faith with all their imperfections are deeply loved by God. Senior mothers and their daughters were also honored and wished a fond farewell as the class of 2017 set off on their new adventures in their life’s journey.

It was a beautiful day to celebrate Mass together and enjoy a bountiful meal. Thank you to Anna Cozzone, Karen D’Ascenzo, and Carolyn Sollecito for organizing a wonderful event.
