Fall Festival and Haunted House Benefit Leukemia Research

A Fall Festival and Haunted House staged by the Athletic and Spirit Association raised $1,300 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

A highlight of the evening was the haunted house the students set up in the basement of the Marian Center. The girls set up scary scenes in which ghoulishly made up characters jumped out at visitors. The route finished with a scary clown, played very convincingly by Villa faculty member Justin Zazyczny.

The festival also featured face painting and games in the gym, a fire pit with marshmallows for roasting, and lots of candy and treats.

Students will be fundraising for the organization throughout the school year in honor of a classmate, and will present a check to the group at the ends of the year. If you were unable to attend the evening but would like to make a contribution, please send cash, or a check made out to cash, in to school, attention Mrs. Michelle Black or Mrs. Marci Luty.
