Art Students Address Domestic Violence Issues

Five of Mrs. Bacastow’s art students participated in a high school art show over Christmas break at the Chester County Art Association facility in the Exton Mall.  The show was held for the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County, and sought to increase awareness of this issue and their program. As many as 1 in 3 women are abused physically, verbally or sexually, and as many as 1 in 7 teenagers.

The artwork was on display in the CCAA through January 23rd. The art opening exhibition was on January 6th at the CCAA in the Exton Mall, and Victoria Wyeth was one of the jurors. Many other high schools participated, and all of the artwork is showing on Domestic Violence Center of Chester County Facebook page.
