Attendees Sparkle in Denim and Diamonds at FEST 2018

Members of the Villa Maria community gathered at Aronimink Golf Club on Saturday, February 24, to have fun and raise funds. FEST 2018 took the theme Denim and Diamonds, and guests dressed both down — in jeans — and up — in sparkling accessories, enjoying an evening of mingling, bidding and dining. The annual event was a big success, as party goers bid generously on items like Eagles and Wildcats memorabilia, golf outings, front row seats at graduation, designer purses, student and professional artwork, and Villa-themed beach chairs and towels. Donors also earmarked separate donations to fund items on teacher wish lists.

FEST 2017 raised a total of $109,000 to benefit programs for Villa Maria students. This year’s “Call from the Floor” raised $12,525, earmarked for new curtains and renovations for the auditorium. Donations are still being accepted to defray the cost of the $23,000 project.

Thank you to event chairs Annette MacLachlan and Terri Vu McDonald ’87, and all the tireless volunteers who make this event possible. Thank you as well to all the generous sponsors who support Villa Maria Academy and its mission.
