Track and Field Athletes Start Season with Strong Performance

Villa Maria’s Track & Field team had their first dual meet against the Mount & Sacred Heart on Tuesday, March 27th. Many girls placed in the top 3 of their event.

First place finishers included Kalise Mack (100m dash & 200m dash), Sarah Raubenheimer (3200m run), Caroline Corr, Katie Boland, Sarah Raubenheimer & Anna Fratantoni (4x800m), Kara Schiek (long jump & javelin), A’sja Abron (shot put), and Norah Bice (discus).

Second place finishers included Isabel O’Donnell (100m dash & 200m dash), Dylan Miller (400m dash), Julia Ayres (3200m run), Hope Brown, Anna Nunag, Isabel O’Donnell, & Dylan Miller (4x400m), Alyson Metzger (long jump), Norah Bice (shot put), Kara Schiek (discus), and Caroline Ludt (javelin).

Third place finishers included Kaira Mack (100m dash), Kaitlyn Porta (300m hurdles), Emily Deacon (shot put), Emily Lake (discus), and Alivia Orvieto (javelin).

The team’s next meet will be the Whippet Invitational at Downingtown East on April 6.
