Villa Track and Field Wins Meet with Merion Mercy

Villa Maria dominated the meet with Merion Mercy, finishing with at least 1 athlete in a top 3 position in every event in which they competed, and finishing in all 3 top positions in 9 events. Many athletes have already qualified for Districts, very early in the season.

First place finishers include Kalise Mack (100m dash and 200m dash), Hope Brown (400m dash), Sarah Raubenheimer (800m run and 1600m run), MaryKate Miller (3200m run), Kara Schiek (high jump, long jump,discus, and javelin), Dylan Miller (triple jump), and A’sja Abron (shot put).

The 4x100m, 4x400m, and 4x800m relays all finished in first place.

Second place finishers include Faith Iacone (200m dash), Dylan Miller (400m dash), Julia Ayres (800m run and 1600m run), Alyssa Ficco (3200m run), Alyson Metzger (300m hurdles,triple jump, and long jump), Emily Lake (high jump), Norah Bice (discus and shot put), and Caroline Ludt (javelin).

Third place finishers include Bella Carlucci (100m dash and 200m dash), Anna Nunag (400m dash and long jump), Hope Brown (800m run), Caroline Corr (1600m run), Julianna Mattei (3200m run), Rachel Carpenter (triple jump), and Emily Lake (discus and shot put).
