Students Welcomed Back to First Day of School

Students navigated the new driveway, caught up with classmates, and greeted new faculty members on the first day of the 2018-19 school year. Despite very hot weather, students gathered outside for a food truck lunch and mingled with friends.

The Villa Maria school community began the school year with Mass in the Marian Center. Representatives for each class, along with a representative for the faculty and staff, presented signed cards representing each person’s commitment to academic integrity. Mass was followed by brief remarks from principal Sr. Regina Ryan, IHM, a presentation from the new Mission and Ministry group, and a presentation by the Athletic and Spirit Association.
