Villa Maria celebrated its senior fall athletes with loud cheers and music at the annual fall pep rally on Friday, October 5. After a performance by the Cheer Team, senior athletes in cross country, field hockey, golf, soccer, tennis and volleyball made a dramatic entrance into the gym. Seniors from each team were called to the front to be recognized and receive a Villa Maria car magnet.
Following the senior recognition, the Blue and White games began. Competitions this year included dodge ball, musical chairs, and jigsaw puzzles.
The final event was building the tallest possible tower out of the 1,436 cans collected in the food can drive. Faculty scored their lone victory of the day in that event. The White team won the day overall.
