Honors Convocation 2021

Members of the Class of 2021 received awards and recognition at the annual Honors Convocation on Tuesday, June 1. Academic recognition included awards for valedictorian and salutatorian, and excellence in Theology, English, History and Social Sciences, Mathematics, Physical and Biological Sciences, World Language, Fine Arts, and Computer Science.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Dr. Elinor Langton Award to Carina Chieffalo. The award is voted on by the senior class and alumnae to distinguish a young woman who is active in her school community, a born leader, good listener, faith-filled, enthusiastic, courageous, and kind to all she meets. It was created to honor the memory of Elinor Langton, Class of 1918.

The seniors also celebrated with song, performing both their class song and the Alma Mater.

Prior to the event, a slideshow displayed photos from the seniors’ Capstone job shadowing.
