Scholars Diploma Students Present Projects

Freshman and sophomore Scholars students presented their projects at an evening event in the Marian Center on May 20. After a welcome from Sr. Regina and Director of Curriculum and Instruction Ms. Linda Henderson, groups of freshman scholars presented the topics they had studied, including the effects of PTSD on the brain, inadequacies in student assessment, and the effects of global warming on oceans.

Sophomores then presented their individual projects, many of which included websites developed by the students. Topics included canine physical therapy, nutrition, the importance of using native plants, pet therapy, vitiligo, the connection between the brain and the gut, and research in a malaria lab.
