Singer Performs in New York City

Sophomore Kim Adam performed at the Argentinian Consulate in New York City on November 4. Kim, a student at Juilliard, was invited to perform during the celebration of the birth anniversary of Argentinian composer Piazzola in connection with the Opera Hispanica. Her opera training coach, Maestro Jorge Parodi, chose her to perform with another Juilliard student, Benjamin Riveron, to do a duet from a Zarzuela “El Gato Montes.” Kim was also able to perform alongside young professional opera singers, as well as famous flamenco dancers.
