Students took their seats in the auditorium on Tuesday, April 19, for what they thought was a Zoom meeting with Archbishop Perez. Instead, Student Council Execs introduced the fifth annual Sorella Day! Classes were cancelled and a day of fun and games followed.
This year the day opened with a show by hypnotist Marshal Manlove that had seniors singing, sleeping, flying on a make-believe spaceship as the rest of the school watched. Afterwards, the girls enjoyed petting the goats, chickens, and sheep in the petting zoo, bouncing on inflatables on the track, and putting on fashion shows in the gym. Students were also treated to free ice cream at lunch. The day closed with a dance party in the gym.
Thank you to the Student Council and Ms. Harkins for another fun Sorella Day!
