Scholars Diploma Students Present Projects

Freshman and sophomore Scholars students presented their projects at an evening event in the Marian Center on May 12. After a welcome from Sr. Regina and Director of Curriculum and Instruction Ms. Linda Henderson, groups of freshman scholars presented the topics they had studied, including synesthesia, dissociative identity disorder, and the effects of the push for college education on the availability of workers in the trades.

Sophomores then presented their individual projects. Topics included preserving family history, obsessive compulsive disorder, celebrating culture thorough cuisine, auditory accessibility, reducing fast fashion, issues faced by immigrants, disability awareness, the need for blood donation, safety in gymnastics, expanding athletic opportunities for people with disabilities, and girls education in Malawi.
