Academic Success Program

The philosophy of Villa Maria's supported learning program is to empower students to achieve at their highest level.

Villa Maria’s Academic Success Program exists as an acknowledgment that bright students who show potential for success in our college preparatory program can still, at times, benefit from support in their academic learning. Academic support classes are instructional in nature and are intended to teach students the skills that they will need to be  successful, life-long learners.

Lessons are structured as follows: direct instruction, modeling, and opportunity for practice. In most cases, authentic material that students are using in their classes are used for instruction, modeling, and practice so that students are interacting with the material they are required to learn.

Please note that there is an additional fee associated with this program, which we are happy to discuss in greater detail. Please contact Mrs. Jennifer Rose, Director of Enrollment Management at jrose@vmahs.org.
