Love in Action Scholarship
The Villa Maria Academy High School Love in Action Scholarship is a partial-tuition scholarship designed to recognize an incoming Villa Maria student who has demonstrated outstanding character and leadership through service to others within her school, church, or local community. The applicant should possess the desire to develop as a leader, problem solver, and woman of God through her passion to serve others.
Eligibility Criteria:
In addition to meeting our standard criteria for admission, candidates should demonstrate:
- Documented participation in school, church, or community events that help those in need or help strengthen a mission.
- Commitment to discovering and using their God-given gifts and sharing these gifts with others.
- All applicants new to Villa Maria may apply for the scholarship.

Following your admissions application submission, apply via the checklist item: Villa Maria Scholarships. Scholarship applications open on September 1, 2024.
Class of 2029 applicants should apply by November 8th, 2024.

Scholarship Maintenance
- The scholarship recipient must remain in good academic and disciplinary standing during her four years at Villa Maria.
- Scholarship recipient must be an active member of the Mission and Ministry team.
- Scholarship recipient must complete 15 hours of service during her freshman year and 20 hours of service during her sophomore year, 5 hours above the Villa Maria requirement for non-scholarship recipients.
- During her Junior and Senior years, scholarship recipient assumes greater responsibilities as she actively engages in annual Mission and Ministry Projects.
