Paddle Tennis

Paddle tennis is basically mini-tennis with walls. If the ball goes past you, you can play it off of the walls around you. The court is about 1/3 the size of a tennis court and the scoring is the same, but you only get one serve. Paddle tennis is always played as a game of doubles. It is a relatively easy sport to pick up, especially since the court is smaller than tennis and there is very little down time between points so games can be quick. Paddle Tennis is fun to play, easy to learn, you could be playing as soon as you pick it up.

Villa Maria’s Paddle Tennis Club plays through the winter months. Practices start in mid-November. Generally, the team will have one practice and one match (against a local high school) each week through early February.
