The Hall of Fame Committee
The Hall of Fame committee is, in essence, the selection committee for the Hall of Fame. The committee is comprised of members of the following groups:
- Alumnae
- Athletic Director (permanent member)
- Director of Advancement (permanent member)
- Faculty Member
- Head Coaches (with tenure of at least 5 years)
- After the 1st year, a member of the Hall of Fame
With the exception of the inaugural committee, the members of the committee will serve a term of no more than 3 consecutive years. Committee members will be invited by the Director of Advancement. If, in a given year, a member of the committee is on the Hall of Fame ballot, he or she will have to abstain from voting that year. New members will be invited in year two.
Nomination Regulations
- Nominations can be made by a teammate, coach, administrator
- Self-nominations or nominations made by family members who are not teammates, coaches , administrators, or classmates will not be considered
- The form is available online using the tab above, or in the Advancement Office at Villa Maria
- Nominations, accompanied by resumes and other supporting material should be mailed to:
