Service Learning

Diversity and Inclusion Committee

The club strives to increase awareness of issues regarding diversity in order to promote equity and inclusion both within and beyond the Villa Maria community.

Service immersion trips

Immersion trips in the US and abroad provide an opportunity for Villa Maria students to serve with their brothers and sisters in need, to develop relationships, and to learn about other communities and cultures.

Villa Maria Food Garden

The Villa Maria Food Garden enables Villa Maria students to grow and collect food for those in need. All produce is donated to a local food pantry.

Crocheting, Chat, and Chew Club

Crocheting, Chat, and Chew Club provides an opportunity for Villa Maria students to learn and improve crocheting skills, to serve others in the community, and to gather and relax with others.

Global Sisterhood Initiative

The Global Sisterhood Initiative provides an opportunity for Villa Maria students to form relationships with students of the Bugyanda School in Uganda, Africa; to learn about their culture; and to make a difference in their lives through service.

Respect Life Club

Respect Life Club promotes a reverence for life in all its stages, especially the unborn, the disabled, and the elderly.
