Villa Voice Newspaper
The Villa Voice – Newspaper
The Villa Voice student-run newspaper informs the Villa Maria community about student accomplishments, school events, and local and world issues. The staff meets weekly to brainstorm ideas, edit articles and learn journalism techniques.Students can be involved in every aspect of producing the newspaper, including interviewing, layout, design, photography, writing, and editing. The newspaper publishes up to three issues per year.Sophomore, junior and senior students who create superior work are recommended to the VMA Quill and Scroll committee for membership in Villa Maria’s chapter of the Quill and Scroll Writing Honor Society.

Reflections Yearbook
Reflections – Yearbook
The Reflections staff creates a book that captures the various aspects of the school community throughout the year. The students are involved in every aspect of the yearbook, including selecting the theme, designing 160 pages, orchestrating photography sessions for over 13 varsity sports and 35 clubs, editing, and writing.
Every other year, the students have the opportunity to attend a three day journalism workshop camp at Gettysburg College with Jostens and Reflections adviser Mrs. Laurie Scaggs.
Sophomore, junior and senior students who produce superior work are recommended to the VMA Quill and Scroll committee for membership in the Villa Maria chapter of the Quill and Scroll Writing Honor Society.

Festival Literary Magazine
Festival – Literary Magazine
Festival challenges and showcases talented student writers and artists. Members work on all aspects of the publishing process, from campaigning for contributions to developing the theme and evaluating the works submitted, from typing and proofreading contributions to designing attractive layouts.
Editors meet on the first Wednesday of the month; staff members meet on the second Wednesday of the month. Staff members are expected to give additional time during January and February to prepare the magazine for the publication deadlines.
