Join us on September 30, 2022 for a party celebrating the history, achievements, and exciting future of Villa Maria Academy High School.
The event begins with Mass in the Marian Center at 4 p.m., followed by a reception at People’s Light Theater, and a special concert by alumna and singer/songwriter Anna Wilson ’90 and her husband Monty Powell, both acclaimed Nashville hitmakers who have written a dozen #1 songs and countless album cuts featured on over than 70 million records sold worldwide for artists like Keith Urban, Lady A., Tim McGraw and more. Together they have co-produced unique projects that pay tribute to the Eagles, Billy Joel and the Countrypolitan era of music, and also penned the International theme song for Habitat for Humanity.
Wilson & Powell will perform their Song Tales concert, which embodies the storytelling spirit of the world-famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN. The show reveals the stories behind the songs, along with humorous tales and a behind-the-curtain look that provides an entertaining experience paying homage to the enduring power of a song.
