Individuals, business firms, foundations, and other organizations will be given credit and acknowledged for their specific philanthropy at all levels. Individuals will be recognized for their cumulative annual fiscal year giving for both Villa Maria’s greatest need and specified gifts through membership in one of the following giving clubs.
The IHM Society
IHM Society benefactors are among the school’s most generous and loyal supporters. Membership in the Society is open to all individuals, companies and foundations that make annual gifts totaling $1,000 or more to the Villa Fund. Leadership gifts are critical for sustained growth and we are grateful for all in the IHM Society who set the standard service and generosity.

Carol and Ring Society
The Carol and Ring Society recognizes donors for consistency and loyalty in giving to Villa Maria High School throughout consecutive years. Inspired by one of our most treasured traditions and the sense of community it creates, the Carol & Ring Society recognizes everyone who makes annual gifts to Villa Maria for five or more consecutive years. Gifts can be in any amount and can be designated to any area of the school.
Green Tree Society
The Green Tree Society recognizes individuals who have documented that they have included VMAHS in their estate plans, life income plans and bequest intentions. Green Tree refers to the name of the area in Malvern where Villa Maria Academy has been educating young women since its move from Immaculata in 1924. Just as a young tree is planted to provide shade and nourishment for decades to come, your planned gift will provide far-sighted support of Villa Maria for future generations to enjoy.
Recognition and gift credit will be given to those business firms, organizations, and foundations that make matching gifts. Each individual donor is responsible for obtaining the matching gift and should initiate the necessary paperwork or telephone the employer to see that the proper forms are signed and delivered to Villa Maria’s Office of Advancement. Matching gifts will be counted toward membership in a giving club for the individual whose contribution is being matched and within the fiscal year that the donor’s gift is initiated. Matching gifts will be considered in the case of campaign pledges and outright contributions.
